Ferrari Repair and History
Ferrari is a name which is richly steeped in car history. Enzo Ferrari started building and selling autos rather reluctantly in 1947 with the "125 S" generally as a way to fund Scuderia Ferrari, his racing team which was mainly comprised of Alfa Romeo vehicles. With a long racing heritage and attractive fluid designs, these production cars soon caught fire with racing fans and brought the marque the repute of a distinguished automaker. In 1970, Fiat became Ferrari's primary investor after inner turmoil in the company forced Enzo to go looking for other financiers. Today, Ferrari continues to set the benchmark for car styling, engineering and dynamics. A Ferrari is commonly referred to as a work of art, a status symbol, and a chunk of racing history. Few, if none, of the automakers today can broadcast the soul of a vehicle so obviously to the driver better than Ferrari.
Ferrari engines are evolved for racing thru and thru. Scuderia Ferrari, literally translating to "Ferrari Stable", was made by Enzo Ferrari in 1928 solely as a way to sponsor beginner drivers and to further his very own racing career. Primarily racing modified Alfa Romeo cars, Ferrari was spotted by Alfa's top brass and eventually employed to head their motor racing dept. Ferrari then branched out on his very own in 1947 with the 125 S, the first Ferrari road auto. Today, Ferrari continues to provide engines that keep their storied racing custom at the forefront. The present 458 Italia is powered by a 4.5L V8 which produces 562hp and 398lb/ft tq at a shocking 9,000 Rpm. Featuring direct fuel injection, it's the most modern engine produced for a road-going mid-engine Ferrari to the present day.
Aircon was long considered a frivolous luxury to Enzo Ferrari. Simply needing his autos to be the best, fastest and most beautiful cars on the road, he paid little notice to tiny creature comforts that had nothing to do with performance. It wasn't till 1967 that Ferrari even offered air conditioning as an option on one of their cars, the bug-eyed 365 GT. Conformance soon trumped Enzo's lust for performance and Ferrari fell in line, offering air conditioning on nearly all of their models. Without this straightforward change, Ferrari may not have been as successful as they now are, since most Ferrari owners want the very best of BOTH worlds "performance AND comfort "not only 1 to choose from. The issue arose of the proper way to implement both desires of Ferrari owners into their new automobiles. In true Ferrari fashion, their autos coped with the new addition of "irrelevant" parts and weight, and implemented new paths to keep Ferrari forging new trails into the future.
When the conversation of a Ferrari's transmission comes up, only one thing should pop into a person's mind. One should magic up images of the classic metal gated shifter crowned with a steel ball, and imagine the "click-clack" sound of upshifting and downshifting while at speed. The gated manual gearbox screams "Ferrari" and is one of their many classic designs that'll be remembered for years and years. Today, the gated manual has become a rare thing, moving closer and closer to the slicing blocl with each advancing new model. The 458 Italia goes so far as to not even supply a manual option, opting instead for a Getrag dual-clutch 7 speed automated transmission, which sees extra duty in the Ferrari California. Upshifting in fragments of a second, this gearbox can outperform any standard manual transmission in each class. Some critics, including yours really, feel it is a sin to not include a full manual optional transmission in a Ferrari "kind of a profanity. Hopefully the fabled gated manual makes a return to lineup at Ferrari in the future.
With all of the power that Ferrari vehicles put out, it is vital that equally as much performance goes into the brakes when it comes time to slow down. Ferrari has never been one to stint on any part of a vehicle, and the brakes are no exception. As an example, in the new 458 Italia, 15 inch front discs and 14 in. rear discs, made from a carbon-ceramic composite, are grabbed by big 6 pot calipers in front and 4 pot calipers in the rear. The braking system sourced from Brembo and modified by Ferrari is capable of amazing stopping times, coming to a halt from 60 miles per hour in only 107 feet. The carbon-ceramic composite. Material was chosen for the discs because of their power to withstand intense heat and heavy use. So much so that carbon-ceramic brakes are still absolutely functional under temperatures that would make standard steel discs completely pliant. Ferrari will definitely stay at the forefront of braking performance as we move into the future, and it will be exciting to see what advances come next.
Ferrari engines are known to run hot with redlines above 8,000 and 9,000 R.P.M, their high displacement engines can put off some heavy heat while under load. While it may seem like upcoming trouble, the engineers at Ferrari have poured countless hours into cooling systems that will keep abreast of their hi-performance engine's output. By employing enormous radiators, high temp coolant and bodywork scoops that force air into required areas, the cooling system can adequately draw heat from the engine block to keep it at an ordinary operating temperature, even under the most extreme loads. As only Ferrari can, they also implemented all of these prerequisites in a way that's still extraordinarily pleasing to the eye, and has the most important focus on performance. To this day, the engineers at Ferrari continue to impress, producing considerate solutions for Problems that other lesser automobiles might not have to think about.
Ferrari has moved forward in leaps and bounds when it comes to the electronics in their vehicles. Starting with nothing less than one or two wires to run the speedometer, tachometer, instruments and lights, Ferraris of today now bristle with technical advances that place them a peg above the rest. With electronic traction control, suspension monitoring systems and electronic engine timing, Ferrari has discovered that electronic parts are far more reliable and perform better than their mechanical opposite numbers. Recently, Ferrari showcased its first ever hybrid concept, the 599 HY KERS at the 2010 Geneva Car Show. Using a passive compound system, this Ferrari uses the electronic motor to lift the performance of the normal engine, adding an additional 100 horse-power on top of the already extraordinary 612 horses available on the normal 599. It is readily obvious that Ferrari is preparing to stick to its guns in the electronics dep. to keep making improvements to the performance of their automobiles into the future.

death of bristle nose cat fish fry what was my fault a week after egg sac had gone?
there could have been couple of thing caused it I know of:
1. lack of circulation
2. change of temperature(27.5 down to 26 cold night)
3. nitrate increased to 20 ppm.
4. fragment of a algae discs they were in for 6 hours
other than that i haven't a clue
the fry were eating the discs
I had 58 fry.
All those things together could have combined to kill them off.
Fry are sensitive.
Fix those four problems and you'll do better next time.
Keep the circulation up. Well established sponge filter is good.
Keep the temp steady (although that wasn't a huge drop)
Water changes every 3 or 4 days to take care of the ammonia and nitrite.
Try fresh green foods. Cucumber and Zuchinii are excellent. Wafers rot faster, pollute water more.
Add a piece of driftwood that's been soaking in a well established tank. Plecos need fiber and healthy bacteria from sucking on wood to aid digestion.
