My fiancé has been in business for 6 years almost and we met 2 years ago. We are now engaged and planning to get married next spring.
We live in Illinois and I was wondering since his business was opened way before I was around… am I even entitled to any of it in case of a divorce?( not that I would!) Or would a legal document need to be put into place? (Which I am 100% ok with since I wouldn’t do that and he has worked so hard, so whatever makes him feel better, but I’m not for a prenup!)
