HP LaserJet 4250n Printer At A Glace
The HP LaserJet 4250n printer can be a good device to choose for a replacement or a first time printer for a medium-sized group or business. It is set up for only 8 by 14 or legal-size paper and for those who do not need additional sizes. Without other paper sizes, the printer pays for itself. The 4250n replacement toner performs well.
Instead of sitting on the floor as other heavy duty printers do, it is placed on a desk or table. It can save the trouble of foot traffic and gives the user extra work space for copies, measuring 14.8" height, by 16.5" width, by 17.8" in depth. However, it may be a bit heavy, weighing in at 45 pounds.
As the name implies, it is indeed a laser printer. It features a monochrome laser for printing documents, whether urgent or only on certain occasions, in a dash. It will not just save time, but money as well, as it uses only one HP LaserJet ink and toner. While InkJet printers are common for single or household use, they can use at least two cartridges, which can be expensive depending on the amount of usage put into a printer.
The average speed of a traditional laser printer produces 45 copies per minute. The speed of the LaserJet's print is excellent for a smaller group setting, with 45 pages-per-minute. It can also print at least 65 pages in under a minute and a half. While it is not meant for heavy duty use, it churns an average cycle of 200,000 pages a month.
Laser printers are usually expensive. When it comes to groups or business, investment costs are not always a big concern. Add to that the fact that it's a medium sized printer that will meet the needs of most offices.
Like in many new printers, the LaserJet has a Network Setup Wizard, which is a bonus. Using the wizard, the printer is setup on a Local Area Network, eliminating the need of installing it on multiple computers. Other features such as a configurable loading tray make printing an easier task. A 500-sheet storage tray that includes an extra 100 sheet tray for other uses, options for stacking or stapling paper, and a capacity for up to 3,100 sheets of paper.
On the whole this is a perfect printer for small to medium groups and businesses. While the overall print quality is said to be not on par with other laser printers, it has high marks on text quality. It can be simple to set up for anyone, even when setting up more than computer on a local network.
It is an inexpensive printer for making copies using standard legal-size paper. Unlike heavy duty printers, it does not use tabloid paper, which is a little bigger than legal paper. Over InkJets, the HP LaserJet 4250n printer keeps the stress off of the hassle of maintaining a printer, money and time wise. Using just one toner cartridge at fast speeds, it may also avoid workplace accidents with traditional department printers.

Occupy the Hood
Many people in black, brown, red and yellow communities across the U.S. know
the feeling of being occupied.
Some have compared it to a state of siege. We know what it is to be
beleaguered. We experience our land being occupied; we view police as an
occupying force; we live daily with the experience of being stopped and
frisked, of our cars being pulled over, of the War on Drugs essentially being
a war on **us**; and we are certainly the majority occupants of jail and
prison cells.
As such, it is important to examine the current status of the Occupy Movement
in relationship to the participation of people of color and its ability to
address our issues. Depending on the location, there has been limited success,
racial tension, and/or open criticism as well as concerted efforts to be
inclusive.
I would like to raise some of the issues here, cite those raised by others,
and look at some of the evolving solutions.
