The Booming Collectibles Hobby
For the many, the greatest thing that have come across their lives is the existence of Internet and as the Internet Super Information Highway is getting wider and wider, the world seem to be shrinking every second of the day. Now, you can have all the information that you want and even if you are looking for a way to earn extra income other than your present 9-to-5 job or an existing business, you can conveniently find one of the Internet and there are lots of opportunities out there waiting be had. One of the most notable and new kind of money-making machine today is for those people who would like to collect things and eventually, sell them for a profit and it’s simply and aptly called collectible selling.
In collectible selling, you just need to find out what ticks people or what makes them happy. For example, the movie industry today seems to be interested in all comic book superheroes and this is evident in the movies they have made, so far from that web-shooting hero to that Dark Vigilante to the big green ugly thing, they have made money from it and the merchandise that followed them is not far behind. People collect them for personal reasons from action figures to commemorative plates. This may seem new to you but guess what? If you have them, you can sell them for a profit. However, you need to learn first some things before you decide to buy and sell collectibles like how to determine collectible values. Are some of these items are still popular or not anymore?
Others would even tend to sell their own personal collectibles like stamps, posters, their own action figures, their own DVD collection or even those vinyl records collections. What they just need to do is get to a site where they will be taught how to go about with collectible selling, determine a collectible appraisal value and that is when they can determine the price of the items.

For all my relatives, i tend to make a 'mass christmas gift', giving everyone the same thing, with a little extra something for closer relatives like my grandparents. Last year i made hot chocolate mix, and my mom made stamped napkins, and they were a huge hit. this year i have no ideas. well actually they're all just failures... i was thinking a cookie mix in a pretty jar, but that costs to much to make and ship... i also had the great idea of making washcloths or hand towels with little snowmen or wreaths on them, but then i remembered, my sewing machine died two years ago after i made about 300 too many juicebox wallets...
I need something fairly inexpensive to make.
also something easy to make
and something easy to ship (not uber fragile)

Go to Big Lots or some other mass merchandiser and get some tins and fill them with White Trash. It's delicious, it's easy to make, and it's rather habit forming (that wonderful salty-sweet combination). I found this recipe by doing a Google:
White Trash
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal 3 cups Rice Chex 3 cups Corn Chex 16 ounces M&Ms plain chocolate candies 2 1/2 cups salted mixed nuts 2 cups small pretzels 2 (11 ounce) packages white chocolate chips Directions:
Dump the cereals, M&Ms, nuts & pretzels in a large bowl.
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. Melt very slowly, stirring occasionally, being careful not to burn the chocolate.
Dump melted chocolate over the rest of the ingredients and fold over and over until you have well-coated hunks and chunks.
Spread the whole mess out on parchment paper and set in a cool place until it sets up, then break it into pieces.
Store in zip-top bags or air-tight containers.
